Create Your Masking Text In Illustrator

This time, I will teach you simple tutorial, and maybe some people know to make this, Masking Text in Illustrator. Some people saying, “I really like CorelDRAW than Illustrator!”. But for me, it’s same. We just need a pictures as background and write something on the pictures and Done… Simple, don’t you?

Program: Adobe Illustrator CS2 – CS4 (In this tutorial using Illustrator CS5)

1. Open your Illustrator.

2. Click File > Place, and browse some images to the stages.

3. And write something on the pictures with Type tool.

4. If finish, click Type > Create Outlines.

5. Text still selected, click Object > Compound Path > Make.

6. And now, text still selected, hold Shift button and click on the pictures. Now, click Object again > Clipping Mask > Make.
