Learn To Making 3D Text with Fireworks

Making 3D Text

3D Text is the many kind text style. We can make 3D Text with any software, like Photoshop, Fireworks, 3ds Max, and many 3D software. This time, I will show you Making 3D Text with Fireworks. Why not Photoshop? Because I want make Something different. We just need make any Text with bigger size, about 53-55 px. Change the color to Linear, give the Bevel and Emboss effects, skewed the Text, copy and paste the Text, and Done. Follow this tutorial and watch the Videos.

1. Open you Adobe Fireworks.

2. Click New Document, and choose Custom colors.

3. Click Text tool and make some bigger Text in the stage.

Choose Bauhaus 93 font or other, and choose 3-55 for the size.

4. Text still selected, click Text menu > Convert to Paths.

5. After that, on the Properties panel, click Solid > Gradient > Linear.

6. And then click Color Box in left side Solid type.

See the Red circle, click each point, for first point, choose the Medium color (ex: light yellow) and for second point, choose the Hard color (ex: dark orange).

7. Now, we give the Text Bevel and Emboss effects. On the Properties panel, search + sign, click it > Bevel and Emboss > Outer Bevel.

Choose the Height 2.

8. Text still selected, on the Select Tool, click Skew Tool (see the picture above).

9. See the Red circle, click that Point, move the Point to the right.

Example 2

Hold Ctrl + Alt, and press the up arrow key. This will duplicate your layer slightly above your original layer. Keep doing this over and over again until your text is at your desired Height.

And you can see the Text.
